From groups to addresses
DALI-2 lets you address each luminaire individually across the control conductors of a 6-wire track. D4i adds data on the bus: energy use and diagnostics per fixture. The result is programmed scenes, not just grouped switching.

Do I need 6-wire track for DALI?
DALI control needs the extra conductors carried by 6-wire track (or a wireless DALI/Casambi layer on a simpler run). We advise per project.
Will DALI lock me to one supplier?
No. DALI-2 is an open standard; sensors, controllers and luminaires from different certified brands interoperate.
