In a gallery, the wall is the product. The track systems only job is to make art look exactly as the artist intended, consistently, without a single hotspot or shadow step.
Colour you can trust
Specify CRI 95+ (Ra > 98 on our gallery-grade modules) with tight SDCM so the same painting lit by two heads shows no colour shift. R9 and skin-tone reds must be accurate — the failure mode is paintings that look wrong under your light.

Even wall washing
Use dedicated wall-washer modules with optics tuned for uniform vertical illuminance. The aim is a clean rectangle of light with no hot centre and no fall-off at the edges — the "light shaping" Targetti and ERCO Spherolit optics are respected for.
Protect the art
Keep UV/IR low and total lux within conservation limits; pair with dimming and scheduling so pieces are not over-lit when the gallery is closed.

Wall wash or spotlight?
