Track Lighting One-Stop Solution: Rail, Luminaire and Control as One Package

What a complete track lighting solution contains — and why sourcing rail, luminaires and control together avoids the compatibility gaps that break a project.

A track lighting system looks simple from the outside: a rail on the ceiling and a few spotlights. In practice it is an electrical, optical and control system that has to work as one. Buying those parts separately is where most projects go wrong.

What a one-stop track lighting solution includes

A complete package covers five layers, not just the visible fixtures: (1) the track rail and the connectors, feeds and end caps that make it a continuous circuit; (2) the luminaires or magnetic modules — spots, wall washers, linear louvres and pendants; (3) the power supply and drivers sized to the total load; (4) the control layer — switch, 0-10V, DALI-2 or wireless; and (5) the certification and documentation (CE/RoHS, IES/LDT photometric files, installation drawings).

  • Track rail, connectors, live-end feeds and end caps
  • Luminaires: spots, wall washers, linear louvres, pendants
  • Power supply and drivers matched to total wattage
  • Control: on/off, 0-10V, DALI-2/D4i or wireless (Matter, Zigbee, Casambi)
  • Certification and documentation: CE/RoHS, photometric and install files

A track system works only when rail, luminaire and control are specified as one compatible package.

Why one package beats separate sourcing

The usual failure modes are electrical and optical: a driver that cannot hold the dimming curve of the luminaire, a rail phase that does not match the module, or beam spreads that look inconsistent across the run. A single source specifies these together, so the photometry, dimming behaviour and colour consistency (SDCM < 3) are designed, not hoped for.

How LUXERA packages it

We combine 48V magnetic track for flexible, reconfigurable zones with mains-voltage 4-wire and 6-wire track for high-output display and addressable scene control. Both share the same optical language — black slim rails and cylindrical heads — and are quoted as one project package from our Shenzhen manufacturing base.

Localized for your market

For the EU we supply CE- and RoHS-compliant products with ErP-ready drivers (standby <= 0.5 W, SVM <= 0.4) and support EPREL registration; for North America we match 120 V and ETL requirements. We regularly ship to Germany, France, the Nordics and Belgium.

Frequently asked questions

Can 48V magnetic and mains track share one project?

Yes. Many projects use magnetic track for zones that change layout and mains 4/6-wire track for high-output display and grouped or DALI scene control. We design both as one coordinated package.

Do you provide photometric and installation files?

IES/LDT files and installation drawings are shared per model after we understand your requirement, so lighting designers can simulate the result before install.
